Working principle of dust collector for small coal-fired boilers
(1) Pre separation: The dusty gas discharged from the coal-fired boiler enters the inlet manifold at the center of the boiler dust collector through the flue. Under the negative pressure generated by the induced draft fan of the dust removal system, it uniformly enters the interior of the boiler dust collector above the center of the ash hopper. The coarse particles in the dusty flue gas directly fall into the ash hopper due to the obstruction of the guide plate and the effect of its own gravity, completing the primary dust removal.
(2) Filtering: The dust that enters the bag filter and is adsorbed on the outer wall of the filter bag accumulates thicker over time. The resistance of the dust collector gradually increases, and the amount of gas processed decreases. In order to ensure that the resistance of the dust collector is stable within a reasonable range, it is necessary to adsorb the accumulated dust on the outer wall of the filter bag. The dust cleaning process is carried out by a pulse controller issuing instructions to each electromagnetic pulse valve in sequence, opening the valves in turn, and sequentially spraying compressed air into each group of bags. The compressed air in the bag passes through the holes of the blowing tube and enters the filter bag through the Venturi tube (called primary air). When the high-speed airflow of the spraying passes through the Venturi tube - injector, several times the surrounding air is induced to enter the bag at the same time (called secondary air). Due to the strong reverse airflow formed by the primary and secondary winds, which is opposite to the filtered airflow, the filter bag rapidly shrinks, expands, and contracts in an instant, and the reverse effect of the airflow causes the dust adsorbed on the outer wall of the filter bag to come down. Due to the fact that blowing high-pressure air into the bag during dust cleaning is carried out sequentially between several sets of filter bags without cutting off the dusty air that needs to be treated, the pressure loss of the dust collector and the amount of dusty air being treated remain almost unchanged during the dust cleaning process.

Selection of dust collectors for small coal-fired boilers

According to the fact that the flue gas of small coal-fired boilers may contain high-temperature particles or even sparks, in the past, water dust collectors (including water film dust collectors and foam dust collectors) were usually used on the dust collectors of coal-fired boilers. The water dust collectors have safe and reliable operation, but the dust removal efficiency can only be 80~90%. In addition, the discharged sewage treatment is troublesome. Considering the temperature of the flue gas and the presence of sparks, a cyclone collector is used in front of the bag type dust collector to reduce the flue gas temperature and separate large particles with ignition conditions.
